Oxford Anglican Cursillo operates under the auspices of the British Anglican Cursillo Council and with the authority and encouragement of the Bishop of Oxford.

 

Cursillo was gifted to the Diocese of Oxford in April 2005 by the Diocese of Coventry, and we aspire to run two weekends each year. Oxford Cursillo weekends are open to adult, communicant members of the Church of England or other Anglican churches. Cursillo weekends are also offered by the Roman Catholic Church, and similar weekends are also offered by other denominations.

Weekends are held at the beautiful retreat centre of Douai Abbey at Woolhampton, just off the A4 between Reading and Newbury. More information on Douai Abbey is available on their website at www.douaiabbey.org.uk. Each weekend can accommodate a maximum of 12 guests.

The Weekend begins on a Thursday evening and ends after tea on the following Sunday afternoon. The dates of future weekends are:
